Hadith of Sahih Muslim, the Book of Remembrance, Supplication, Repentance and Praying for Forgiveness, Hadith: 6859

عن أبي بردة قال سمعت الأغر وکان من أصحاب النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم يحدث ابن عمر قال قال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم يا أيها الناس توبوا إلی الله فإني أتوب في اليوم إليه ماة مرة

It was narrated that Abu Burdah said: I heard Al-Agharr, who was one of the companions of Prophet (peace be upon him) telling Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): “O people repent to Allah, for I repent to Allah one hundred times a day.”

ابی بردہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابہ کرام میں سے حضرت اغر سے سنا کہ حضرت ابن عمر نے کہا رسول اللہ نے فرمایا لوگو اللہ سے توبہ کرو کیونکہ میں دن میں سو مرتبہ اس (اللہ عزَّوجَلّ) سے توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
