Two Teenage Sisters Gang Raped in India.
A gang of men - including at least one police officer - allegedly raped and killed two teenage sisters in rural India then hung their bodies from a tree, authorities said today.
Villagers found the girls, aged 14 and 15, hanging in a mango tree hours after they disappeared near their home in Katra village in Uttar Pradesh state.
They had gone into fields because there was no toilet in their home.
Hundreds of angry villagers crowded around the tree for the rest of the day, silently protesting alleged police inaction in the case.
India tightened its anti-rape laws last year, making gang rape punishable by the death penalty, even in cases where the victim survives.
The new laws came after the fatal gang rape in 2012 of a 23-year-old woman on a moving bus in New Delhi that triggered nationwide protests.
In this latest incident, Indian TV footage showed the villagers sitting under the girls' bodies as they swung in the wind, preventing authorities from taking them down until the suspects were arrested.
Amid conflicting reports, police are believed to have arrested four men later in the day and were searching for three more suspects.

Hawaii’s “hottest” teacher, 39-year-old Nancy Ballo has been busted allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student, police said. She has been placed on administrative leave from Waiakea High School after details of the alleged affair came to light but is unlikely to face criminal charges, because the state’s age of consent is 16.
It’s unclear how many times the science teacher — dubbed the sexiest on the island online — who taught at the school for 11 years, is alleged to have engaged in sexual relations with the teen.
But students said they were shocked at the news. “I think it’s not good,” said sophomore Daynia Au, who had a class with Ballo. “It doesn’t set a very good role model for the students. There are students who have been talking a lot about it,” the 16-year-old added.
“We haven’t fired anybody,” Principal Kelcy Koga told a newsmen, revealing that a state Department of Education investigation was now underway.

Pork in Cadbury's: Malaysian chocolate recalled after DNA traces found
Chocolate maker Cadbury has recalled two products in mainly Muslim Malaysia after traces of pig DNA were found during a routine check for non-halal substances.
"Cadbury has voluntarily removed two of its products from the shelves," said the Malaysian health minister, S Subramaniam.
The tests were conducted by the ministry which over the weekend announced that two Cadbury products contained pork traces.
Chocolate products are popular in Malaysia and can be found in most shops nationwide.
Pork and its byproducts are not considered halal – permissible – and are forbidden for Muslims to consume, along with alcohol and meat from animals not slaughtered according to Islamic procedures.

JEDDAH: For the benefit of non-Arabic speaking worshipers members of the Shura Council have called for the immediate translation of Friday sermons in Urdu and English. This Service has started in the Holy Mosque of Makkah (Al Masjid Al Haram) in Makkah.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, president of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, has said that simultaneous interpretation of Friday sermons in the Grand Mosque in Makkah has started. Muslims, who don't know Arabic, will get a chance to listen to a Khutba in English and Urdu also. Specially equipped interpretation booths were set up in the area and worshippers were given headphones before the beginning of a sermon free of charge.
The FM service in English and Urdu was accessible this Friday to worshippers. After evaluation, the service will be expanded to all areas of the Grand mosque and later to the Prophet's Mosque, reported by Al jazeera news agency.
About one million worshippers perform Friday prayers in the Al Masjid Al Haram mosque. The translation of sermon in different languages will be very beneficial for the worshippers. Such as numbers of Muslims from around the world come to Saudi Arabia on Umrah and Haj to fulfil their religious obligations, the translation of Friday Khutba will give more satisfying feeling to them Abdul Aziz Al-Thunayyan, a member of the Shoura, said "The translation of the Khutba (semon ) at the Grand Mosque in Makkah is very important, this can be done by hand out interpretation receivers at a nominal fee to those who can afford or get free of cast" Maj. Gen Ibrahim Al-maiman, another council member, supported Al-Thunayyan's views and highlighted the need to employ Saudis at the two mosques.
This service has now also started in Masjid Nabawi, Medina.
